Traditional food from East Sussex

The Bobbett family moved to Tidebrook in 2005 with the aim of being more self sufficient for most of the family's food requirements. We expanded into supplying friends and neighbours and now produce a range of traditionally cured bacons and hams (both air dried and brine cured) along with sausages and a wide selection of delicious pork joints. In 2014, we added beef and the meat from our locally bred Sussex steers will be available towards the end of 2016.

Point of lay hens are always available with a good selection of chicken houses and coups for sale too. We will also construct bespoke chicken runs to suit all spaces.

A full time farmer, Jonathan also manages the maintenance of paddocks and fields on an ad hoc or contract basis.

Vintage travel trailers

There are few things more iconic than the classic "silver bullet" American Airstream caravan, so frequently featuring in popular culture. Having long harboured a desire to own one, in 2013 we finally imported a magnificent 32ft Airstream Land Yacht from the USA with the intention of doing "glamping" holidays on the farm.

After a terrrible winter, we realised that we would not be ready to offer holidays that year and, reluctantly, decided to sell the Airstream. To our delight, it was bought by someone who wanted it as his full time home. We said a sad goodbye to that caravan but have continued to import them ever since and have become collectors of the older, rarer models. We usually have at least one or two for sale and have undertaken most aspects of restoration and refurbishment. Please seeour dedicated web site:
